"Lattice work of complex systems" - reminds me of Charlie Munger's latticework of mental models.

I do agree. Maybe I should have been a software engineer but I'm data analyst and probably data engineer and business analyst at other times too.

I definitely agree that trying to understand how all systems interact with each other can be a difficult as trying to understand how a business works.
