Hi Marianne, thanks for the comments. Yes, I do agree leverage is acceptable on a case by case situation. For example, I would think it would be appropriate for energy companies to have billions in borrowings if their earnings can suffice.

It's not too easy to automate the cost of capital with Yahoo Finance API but you've given me a thought and I might take the challenge on. Thanks for the idea Marianne :)
